Welcome to Year Two, where we do lots of exciting things!
In the Autumn Term we begin by looking at Christopher Columbus and the countries he travelled to, we also look at the sea and the creatures that live there and a trip to Fort Victoria Aquarium enables us to see some of these creatures. In the Spring Term we have a great time looking at life in a castle and visit Carisbrooke Castle. The Fire of London is our other topic and we have the opportunity to create fantastic models of a home from that period. In the Summer Term we get really creative while looking at art and artists and we also think about being healthy through exercise and eating the right things, a great chance to try out some cooking!
In July we celebrate such a hardworking year with a trip to Blackgang Chine!
