Welcome from Year Four!
Here is just a snapshot of all the exciting learning that goes on during the
year. During the Autumn Term we undertake a Tudor Case Study and a visit to
an authentic home in Portsmouth. This is followed by a look at the impact of
chocolate production in different locations around the world, not forgetting
the tasting tests we have to do in Science! In the Spring Term we learn
about Victorian inventions and how times have changed today. Next we visit
the 'Ice Age' topic where we look at life in the Poles, weather around the
world and the fabulous force of friction! Finally, in the Summer Term we
explore the Ancient Egyptians and their weird but wonderful traditions. We
also investigate Habitats and visit Newton Nature Reserve to see these
habitats in use.
In Year Four there is the residential trip to plan for, an exciting and
memorable experience not to be missed!
