Our Ethos
We believe our children should be given every opportunity to enjoy their learning during their primary school years. At Sandown we provide the skills to help our children be independent and self motivated learners, always willing to ‘have a go’. We enjoy developing good relationships with parents and hope that you and your child will enjoy working in partnership with us.
Our Aims
We aim to provide a broad and balanced curriculum for all of our pupils, with the opportunity to learn by practical experience and to develop lively inquiring minds. We aim to encourage pupils to work hard and show pride, enjoyment and confidence in achieving their personal best. The school, in partnership with our parents, intends that pupils will move on to the next stage of their education with keenness, enthusiasm and skills for learning.
